Our Journey of Love
It all began 14 years ago at a friend’s 30th birthday — a wine-tasting weekend in Niagara where fate decided to pour us the perfect glass. From that first meeting, we’ve been writing our own story, one filled with adventures, laughter, and plenty of good food and wine along the way.
Together, we’ve explored new places, clinked glasses in far-off cities, and shared countless moments that remind us we’re not just partners — we’re best friends.
After all these years, one thing is crystal clear: I love him, he loves me — and the rest is the adventure of a lifetime.
We invite you to be a part of our beautiful journey as we embark on a new chapter together amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Altillac, France.
Getting Here
Getting to the château is a little adventure all on its own — the kind of journey that feels like stepping into a French fairytale. Tucked high on a hilltop in the Dordogne Valley, Château du Doux waits at the end of sunflower-lined roads, sleepy stone villages, and rolling green hills that look like they’ve been painted just for you.
Many guests will begin in Paris — where the story starts with a glass of champagne and a swift train ride south. The high-speed TGV whisks you away in a blur of countryside, delivering you to Brive-la-Gaillarde, the nearest train station. From there, it’s a short, scenic drive until the château suddenly appears like a castle from a dream.
Prefer to fly? Nearby airports in Brive, Limoges, and Toulouse make arrival a breeze. Pick up a car, roll down the windows, and let the French countryside welcome you in style.
However you arrive, every twist in the road brings you closer to valley views, starry skies, and a weekend of celebration in our hilltop haven.

If you’re not renting a car, don’t worry — we’ve got you covered! The Château will be arranging a coach/shuttle service from nearby airports directly to the venue on the day of check-in. More details and exact times will be shared closer to the date.

This deposit secures your accommodation for the wedding weekend — July 17-20, 2026 — and ensures your name is on the guest list for three unforgettable days of celebrations.
